Wowbeds are designed to work on any flat surface as long as it is stable and supportive. That could be a slatted bed frame, an ensemble base or even some wooden pallets. The floor would even work. All our mattresses are one sided so turning the mattress over is no longer necessary. We do however recommend rotating the mattress from head to toe every month for the 1st 6 months and thereafter a few times per year.

Along with making it easier and quicker to deliver, the box is designed to protect the mattress during the delivery process. It’s expected that the box might be a bit scuffed when you receive it, but don’t lose any sleep, the mattress is well protected.

Like all new mattresses, our mattress will have a ‘new mattress’ smell after unboxing. This odour will disappear over the first few days, but we recommend airing the mattress in your room for as long as possible.

Due to current health precautions, we are unable to remove old mattresses, but if you require a mattress recycler in your area, please email us and we'll send you the details. Alternatively check with your local council, they should be able to dispose of your old mattress.
